Sanchez Signs On In Murcia - Spain - Nov.7, 2009
Spanish veteran small forward Xavier Sanchez (195-G/F-75) has tied up a deal to stay at CB Murcia until the end of the season. The small forward has only played one game in the ACB to date will now be looking to make a more substantial contribution having been given a vote of confidence by club president who has made his month to month agreement permanent. Hermine Nantes Atlantique (ProB) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old American forward Alex Barnett (198-F-86, college: Dartmouth, agency: Interperformances). Barnett was tested most recently at Cholet Basket (ProA). But he did not impress in 5 games scoring just 3 games in 12 mpg. He graduated Dartmouth (NCAA) last year with stats: 15.6ppg, 7.3rpg, 2.2apg, 1.2spg and 1.2bpg. Dexia Mons-Hainaut strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American forward Curtis Sumpter (201-F-84, college: Villanova). Sumpter started this season at BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral (France), which team he joined in second part last season.
