Zadar je najbolji, Zadar je slavan … Zadar is the best, Zadar is the famous … Croatian team surprisingly won 2nd Adriatic League! Zadar in the finals game beat Maccabi by 91-88, Marko Popovic (185-G-82) scored 27 points, Damir Tvrdic added 21, each including four 3-pointers, and Hrvoje Perincic grabbed 11 rebounds. Croatians in last period hit four consecutive 3-pointers and had their largest lead at 84:72 just 2:35 remaining but Maccabi responded with a seven points in a row and cut the deficit to 89:88. Popovic hit both free-throws only 8 seconds remaining and Marcus Goree who netted 26 points and led five Maccabi's players in double figures, missed behind the arc at the buzzer.
