 Eurobasket was able to talk to Eban Hyams (193-G-81, college: Georgia Perimeter), who played professionally in Israel the past season. Read here what he got to tell about his experience: Eurobasket: Eban, you played only in a few games last year in Israel, what was the reason? Eban Hyams: Well, I took my break to go home, as the league had giving teams ten days off in January 2008.

 Eurobasket was able to talk to Armenian guard Rouben Vesmadian (191-G-83, college: Fresno St.) about his recent experience in Egypt. Eurobasket: Ruben, the last time we spoke, you left to Egypt to play for Eastern Company. What has happened there to you? Rouben Vesmadian: I was signed to play for Eastern Company, the national tobacco company co-incidentally founded in the 1950's by an Armenian.

 Armenian guard Rouben Vesmadian (191-G-83, college: Fresno St.) signed in February a contract until the end of the season with Eastern Company in Egypt. Vesmadian is not going to count as an import due to his egyptian citizenship and hopes to contribute significantly to the teams' success.

 Zareh Zargaryan could be another big time player from Armenia.The young forward is currently averaging 11.4 points per game in his first year at the Glendale Community College in California and should be getting looks from D1 schools already.The team's third leading scorer is also a great passer with 4.8 assists per game which are team's best.

 Swiss-Armenian guard Sevag Keucheyan (178-G-78, agency: HM Sports Agency) stays in the Stuttgart-area in Germany after signing with MTV Stuttgart in the Regionalliga South-West. He averaged 13.9 ppg for TS Goeppingen in the same league but was released earlier this month and will be suiting up for rivals Stuttgart who lost a player due to an injury recently. Sevag is going to be a free-agent in January , so we will be keeping you updated on his career.

 Sweden U18-Armenia U18 90:32 (25-11, 22-4, 25-9, 18-8) Sweden U18 destroyed Armenia in Day 4 of U18 European Championship. A 90:32 win was a great step to the first place in the group. Andreas Karlsson (194-F-89) and Bengt Pettersson (-89) led the winners with 13 points each. John Gaddefors (-89) supported them with 11.

 Netherlands U18-Armenia U18 103:40(32-15, 24-11, 21-8, 26-6) Netherlands U18 did not have many troubles in the first game of the U18 European Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria. The team that appeared in the court aganst them was Armenia. The latter did their best but were smashed 103:40. Joshua Kramer (192-F-90) led the way with 21 points.
