The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with derby games and favorites losing the games.
The most interesting game of round 19 was a derby match between two teams from Serbia. The game took place in Kragujevac where tenth ranked Zvezda won against host Radnicki K. (9-10) 90-86. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 51-44 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Zvezda looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Bojan Popovic (191-83) fired 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American forward Omar Thomas (197-82, college: UTEP) chipped in 17 points. Zvezda's coach Svetislav Pesic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Mike Scott (203-86, college: Kent St.) produced 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Zvezda maintains tenth place with 7-11 record. Radnicki K. at the other side dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. Zvezda are looking forward to face league's second-placed Cedevita in Zagreb in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Radnicki K. will play on the road against the league's second-placed Cedevita (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory. Very important is a road loss of third ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (13-6) against ninth ranked Croatian Cibona (10-9) on Saturday night. Visiting Buducnost was defeated by Cibona in a tough game in Zagreb 74-80. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Buducnost. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cibona moved-up to seventh place, which they share with KK Zagreb CO. Defending Montenegrin champion Buducnost keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Partizan. Cibona will play against Hemofarm (#11) in Vrsac in the next round. Buducnost will play on the road against the league's leader Maccabi T-A (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory. Israeli leader Maccabi T-A delivered the eighteenth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Slovenian Union Olimpija (11-8) 83-63 in Ljubljana. It was a great evening for Richard Hendrix who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Maccabi T-A's coach David Blatt used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Goran Jeretin responded with 18 points and 4 assists. Maccabi T-A (18-1) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending Israeli champion maintains first place. Loser Union Olimpija keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Siroki WWin. Maccabi T-A will meet at home Buducnost (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Union Olimpija will play against Krka in Novo Mesto and hope to secure a win. Twelfth-ranked Slovenian Helios (5-14) made lots of trouble for eighth ranked Croatian KK Zagreb CO (10-9) in Domzale. The visitors from Zagreb managed to secure only one-point victory 82-81. However their fans expected much easier game. It was an exceptional evening for Mario Kasun who led the winners and scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. KK Zagreb CO's coach Vladimir Androic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Defending Croatian champion moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Cibona. Helios at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost. KK Zagreb CO's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Zlatorog (#14) in Lasko and are hoping to win another game. Helios will play on the road against Zvezda in Beograd and it may be a tough game between close rivals. The game with biggest result difference took place in Beograd. Local Partizan (13-6) outscored 14th ranked Slovenian Zlatorog (2-17) 90-50 on Saturday night. Dragan Milosavljevic fired 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Serbian champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Buducnost. Zlatorog lost their ninth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Partizan will face HKK Siroki WWin (#5) in Siroki Brijeg in the next round. Zlatorog will play on the road against KK Zagreb CO (#7).
In the last two games of round 19 Hemofarm was defeated by Siroki WWin in Siroki Brijeg 72-65. Krka was beaten by Cedevita at home 63-74.

Terrico White (196-G-90, college: Mississippi) will leave Radnicki Kragujevac in the summer. The player will not prolong his deal with the Serbian team and will try to make it to the NBA. Terrico White is having a solid season with Radnicki. The guard notches 15.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in A League. Ales Pipan is close to become the next head coach of Union Olimpija. The team is reportedly in final stage of the talks with the specialist to take over the bridge. Ales Pipan , if appointed, will replace Saso Filipovski . Ales Pipan is currently working with MZT Skopje. He led the team to the FYR Macedonian League Finals where they lead 2-0 against Kozuv.
