Brandon Wood (187-G-89, agency: N.E.T., college: Michigan St.) is no longer a member of MZT Skopje. The reigning FYR Macedonian champion released the player last week, before their trip to Sarajevo. The American rookie signed with MZT recently, but according to local media he did not meet expectations. The team is back on the market looking for combo guard to replace Wood. Brandon Wood graduated at Michigan State University few months ago. He had 8.8 ppg, 2.8 rpg and 1.9 apg for 37 games. Michigan State won the Big Ten Tournament and reached NCAA Sweet 16. The player was named to Big Ten All-Tournament Team -12. Wood transferred to Michigan State in 2011 from Valparaiso University. He played for Valparaiso from 2009 to 2011. Before that Brandon Wood spent one year with Southern Illinois University.
