Aleksandar
Capin
Experienced Slovenian-Serbian Aleksandar Capin (186-PG-82, agency: Beo Basket) put on an amazing game in the last round for Radnicki KG and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 30-year old playmaker had the game-high 26 points adding two rebounds and nine assists for Radnicki KG in his team's victory, helping them to beat MZT Skopje (9-8) 89-83. Radnicki KG maintains the 8th position in Adriatic League . Radnicki KG is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 9-8 record. In the team's last game Capin had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Radnicki KG's top player in his first season with the team. Capin has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 15.7ppg) and averages solid 48.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 28-year old American power forward Romeo Travis (201-PF-84) of Zadar. Travis impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Zadar lost that game 81-88 to the higher-ranked Un.Olimpija (#5, 9-8). This loss caused Zadar to drop to 13th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-11 record. Travis is a newcomer at Zadar and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.9ppg (#1). He also registered 7.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Serbian Branko Jorovic (204-F-81, agency: Beo Basket) of top-ranked Igokea. Jorovic scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds. He was a key player of Igokea, leading his team to a 68-60 win against the lower-ranked KK Split (#10, 7-10). Igokea confirms their top position in the standings Jorovic has a great season in Adriatic League. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.6ppg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jaka Blazic (196-G-90) of Un.Olimpija - 26 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Stefan Bircevic (210-F/C-89) of Radnicki KG - 17 points and 11 rebounds
6. Smiljan Pavic (210-F/C-80) of Krka - 15 points and 11 rebounds
7. Damjan Stojanovski (197-SG-87) of MZT Skopje - 21 points and 7 rebounds
8. Boris Savovic (210-F-87) of Crvena Zvezda - 14 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Bracey Wright (191-G-84) of Cedevita - 22 points and 6 assists
10. Johnathon Jones (183-PG-88) of Siroki WWin - 12 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
