Round19: Athlete Celje-Vrsac 78-69: Slovenian champion finally secured its first home win of the season. Celje opened the game with eight straight points and extended their lead to 20-10, before Vrsac put together a 13-2 run to take their only lead of the game, 24-23. After tying at 41 early in the third period, Celje scored eight consecutive points and late go up to 54-43. Vrsac cut the deficit to 55-56 early in the final quarter, but Celje answered with a cruacial 10-1 run. All five Celje's starters finished with double-figure scoring, while five bench players combined for just 3 points. Marica Gajic (187-C-95) collected 22 points and 14 rebounds, Rebeka Abramovic (172-PG-93, agency: Veracity Sports, LLC) and Nina Gabrovsek (168-PG-94) both scored 15 points, Eva Lisec (190-C-95) 12 and Sanja Orozovic (183-G-90) 11. Vrsac hit ten 3-pointers, but they were outrebounded 22-38. Bojana Jankovic (184-F-83) scored 21 points including four 3-pointers, Jovana Jaksic (178-F/G-92) posted 17 points and Tamara Petkovic (170-G-89) 16.
Radivoj Korac-Celik 65-47: Korac, who never trailed, opened the game with an 8-2 run. Celik tied at 8, but the home team answered with a 24-4 run to go up 32-12 late in the second quarter. Ines Ajanovic (195-F-80) scored 12 points for Korac, Ivana Brajkovic (195-C-93) had 11 points and 8 rebounds, Tamara Kapor (184-G-91) added 11 points and Anja Stupar (180-F/C-89) 10. Celik was led by Ivona Bogoje (193-C-76) with 12 points and 9 rebounds and Zivana Jankovic (174-G-83) scored 11 points. Round 17: Sloboda-Vrsac 77-76 OT:Zvjezdana Gagic (165-PG-81, agency: Global Sports Plaza) made a free throw to tie at 71 and send the game into overtime. Gagic was at it again in extra period as she hit a pair of game winning-free throws to gve Sloboda the 77-76 final margin. Zvjezdana Gagic scored 33 points including five 3-pointers, Dragana Stankovic (193-PF-95) had 22 points and 15 reboundsa and Ljiljana Latinovic (172-G-76) posted 12 points and handed out 8 assists.Vrsac was led by Milena Marjanovic (193-C-91) with 19 points and 11 rebounds, Bojana Jankovic had 17 points and 8 rebounds, Tamara Petkovic scored 12 points and dished out 7 assists and Milica Milosev (185-F-93) added 10 points.
