  CSKA Sophia won WABA 2007
CSKA defeated Sibenik 73-67 to claim club's first Adriatic WABA title. Bulgarian team outrebounded defending champion by 45-21, shot 45 percent from the field (25-of-55) and limited Sibenik to just 36 percent (20-56). Latasha Byears collected 19 points and 10 rebounds, Tiffani Johnson (193-C-75, college: Tennessee) had 17 points and 15 rebounds and Teodora Petrova posted 12 points. Sibenik played in all six finals and won three titles. Sandra Popovic-Mandir netted 19 points, Tihana Abrlic added 15 on shooting 2-of-11, Anda Jelavic 13 and Natalia Tratsiak-Terglav grabbed 10 rebounds.
Latasha Byears was selected the 2007 Adriatic WABA League Final-Four MVP. She averaged 19,5 points, 9,5 rebounds and 2,0 assists.

  All-Star Game: East beats West 86-85
East All Stars-West All Stars 86:85
Two All Star Games were held yestreday in Ljubljana. In one of them participated the best players of Men Adriatic League, in another-the best players of Women Adriatic League. As for Women Game the representatives from East were a bit stronger than west 86:85. The top scorer for the winners was Iva Perovanovic (190-C/F-83) from Buducnost. She finished with 19 points and got the MVP award.
Six participants from Croatia took part in this event. From Sibenik Sandra Popovic-Mandir (177-G-77), Anda Jelavic (174-G-80) and Luca Ivankovic. Marina Mazic (190-C-80) and Petra Radakovic represented Gospic. Tina Perisa and Ivona Matic (188-F/C-86) were from the third Croatian team in Adriatic League-Ragusa. The top scorer among the Croatians was Sandra Popovic-Mandir with 24 points. For sure if west could overcome East, she would be  the MVP of the game. In the end of the game she hit just one free throw for East, while Ivana Grubor hit a game-winning free throw.
After the game there were no losers. Everybody celebrated such a wonderful show. The more games we will have as those, the more interest we will have for basketball.
