Gospic stay perfect, win title - Mar 14, 2010
Gospic CO captured their second Adriatic League title after defeating Sibenik Jolly JBS 73-65 in the finals game of the Final-Four. Gospic won the 2010 Adriatic League title without a loss and won all 20 games.
Finals: Gospic CO-Sibenik JollyJBS 73-65: Trailing 47-48, Gospic went ona 12-2 run spanning end of the third and start of fourth quarters to take a lead 59-50. Carla Thomas (191-F/C-85, agency: LBM Management, college: Vanderbilt) scored 30 points including six 3-pointers, Jelena Ivezic and Ivana Jurcevic added 12 points and Anda Jelavic handed out 8 assists. For Sibenik, Antonija Misura scored 14 points and Natasa Popovic grabbed 13 rebounds.
Gospic 73 (16+21+17+19): Ivezic 12, Matic, Marin, Gambiraza DNP, Jurcevic 12, Jelavic 9, Vrsaljko DNP, Bogoje, Dosen DNP, Salopek 4, Augustine 6, Thomas 30. Coach: Bralic.

For 3rd place: Merkur Celje-Mladi Krajisnik 69-53: Merkur take a lead 27-16 in the second quarter and from that point on, Krajisnik never could get the deficit under double-digits. Rankica Sarenac had 13 points and 11 rebounds and Nika Baric and Vedrana Grgin Fonseca added12 points each. For Krajisnik, Milica Deura netter 19 points but she commited 10 turnovers, and Tamara Kapor scored 12 points.
