Nevertheless, there is speculation if Basket Kamza has the financial means to sign imports, let alone a star like Dickel, who in the past has also served as the head coach for the Albanian men's national team. Tirana keep the leadership position after four games played in 2011/2012 season. The team smashed Teuta 115:74 in their last game. Kamza Basket and Vllaznia are second with 3-1 records each. Vllaznia needed 73:70 to beat Flamurtarti that fell at 1-3 record. Kamza Basket edged UAT 68:41.

Gerti Shima (205-F/C-86) is a new member of Capljina. The Albanian power forward/center penned a one-year deal with the Bosnian outfit. He heads to Capljina from Sport Klub Tirana. Shima helped them win the Albanian league title last season. Shima played for AS Prishtine from 2006 to 2008. Before that he was a member of Valbona Tropoje. In 2005/06 season Gerti Shima shined with 16.3 ppg and 5.8 rpg in four EuroCup Challenge games

Shima helped them win the Albanian league title last season. Shima played for AS Prishtine from 2006 to 2008. Before that he was a member of Valbona Tropoje. In 2005/06 season Gerti Shima shined with 16.3 ppg and 5.8 rpg in four EuroCup Challenge games. Shima helped Valbona Tropoje to win Albanian league titles in both years (2005, 2006). They also celebrated in Albanian Cup in 2005. Gerti Shima is active member of the Albanian National Team.
