Goga Basket (Superliga) landed American guard Jasmine McRoy (175, college: Mass.-Lowell). She started the season at Zeljeznicar in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. Among other achievements McRoy won NJCAA D2 championship title in 2012. She received also All-AEC 2nd Team award back in 2014 at her college time. Superliga Round 9: Goga beats Flamutari in the most crucial game of the week - 30 days ago
Coincidentally all hosts won their games. An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Durres. Third ranked Goga faced second-best Flamutari. Host Goga (7-1) defeated guests from Vlore (6-2) 69-63. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Goga have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Flamutari (6-1) in Vlore on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by Tirana (7-0) 90-87. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Flamutari. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Undefeated Tirana have an impressive seven-game winning streak.
