Here is the weekly review of the top performing Albanian players, who play currently abroad.


   #1. Nderim Pelaj (179-G-88), who plays in the German ProB (third division) could not help Dorsten (14-10) in their last game. Despite his good performance the sixth-placed Dorsten lost 67-74 at home to the higher-ranked (#3) USC Leipzig in the Group North. Pelaj scored 12 points in 31 minutes. It was Dorsten''s first loss after three consecutive victories. It''s Pelaj''s eighth season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 11.8ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.4apg in the 26 games he played so far. Pelaj has also German passport.

Defending champion Sport Klub Tirana (Superliga) re-signed experienced 54-year old Montenegrin coach Nikola Milatovic.He helped them to win the league title and the Supercup. Milatovic used to coach Albanian U16 National Team back in 2014. He has coached also professionally for other Montenegrin teams like Mogren and Ulcinj.
