Kamza Basket and SK Tirana registered victories in the semifinal openers. They defeated Vllaznia and Teuta Durres in the first games of the series.
Kamza Basket celebrated a 70:64 win. They strongly entered the game taking a 21:11 lead after ten minutes. Kamza Basket controlled the tempo afterwards cruising to a well-deserved win at the end. Herion Fasslija and Algert Gjonaj (200-F-87) scored 10 points each to lead the winners. Vllaznia answered with game-high 20 points from Ervin Berdica (182-G-85).
SK Tirana coasted past Teuta 92:43 in the opener. SK Tirana built a comfortable 45:20 halftime lead. They stretched the margin to insurmountable 45 points at the final break 71:26 and never looked back en route to the victory. Endrit Hysenagolli (203-C-88) came up with 20 points for SK Tirana. Bruno Daliu (202-C-85, college: Tusculum) added 15 points in the win. Elton Saliaga (185-G-78) answered with 15 points for Teuta.

Dillard started the season at Pinar Karsiyaka in Turkish BSL league. In 9 games he had 12.0ppg, 2.2rpg, 4.9apg and 1.0spg this season. Defending champion Vllaznia Shkodra (Superliga) landed 24-year old American guard Seth Jackson (195-100kg-93, college: Truman State). He played most recently at Balkan in Bulgarian NBL league, but left the team in Dec.'15. In 7 games he averaged 5.6ppg and 1.6rpg last season.
