We bring you last week's top performances from Albanians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Ermal Kurtoglu
Ermal Kurtoglu
#1. This week's number one is an international center Ermal Kurtoglu (208-80, agency: Beo Basket). He led Anadolu Efes to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Mersin (12-18) crushing them 106-78 in the Turkish TBL in Sunday night's game. Kurtoglu scored 12 points and added 3 passes in 21 minutes on the court. Anadolu Efes Istanbul (24-6) is placed third in the TBL. The Regular Season already ended. It's Kurtoglu's first season with the team. This year he averages: 6.8ppg, 1.8rpg, 2FGP: 58.6%(41-70) and FT: 77.8% in the 13 games he played so far. Kurtoglu has a dual citizenship: Albanian and Turkish. Despite he played previously for the Turkish national team, Kurtoglu is currently a member of the Albanian senior national team.

Franko Bushati
Franko Bushati
#2. Second place goes to an international guard Franko Bushati (188-85, agency: Two Points). He led Centrale Latte to a 2-point victory over the closely-ranked Givova Scafati (17-10) 76-74 in the Italian Lega2 (second division) last Sunday. Bushati was MVP of the game. He scored 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Centrale del Latte Brescia (15-12) is placed sixth in the Lega2. Bushati's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Bushati's overall stats this season are: 7.8ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.6apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 53.7%, 3FGP: 32.8% and FT: 76.0%. He is another player who holds two passports: Albanian and Italian. Despite Bushati played previously for the Italian national team, he is currently a member of the Albanian senior national team.

Erjon Kastrati
Erjon Kastrati
#3. The Albanian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international swingman Erjon Kastrati (197-94). Kastrati led LTHcast Mercator to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Parklji (1-27) 97-78 in the Slovenian Telemach League on Wednesday night. He scored 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in a mere 16 minutes. TTHcast Mercator Skofja Loka (5-23) is placed fifth in Play-out group. They ended the series of four consecutive loses. The Second Stage already ended. This year Kastrati's overall stats are: 6.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 2FGP: 50.8%, 3FGP: 25.5% and FT: 68.2% in the 17 games. He has both Kosovan and Albanian nationalities. Despite Kastrati played previously for the Kosovan national team, he is currently a member of the Albanian senior national team.

Klaudio Ndoja
Klaudio Ndoja
#4. Swingman Klaudio Ndoja (200-85), who plays in the Italian Lega2 (second division) could not help Enel Brindisi (17-10) to beat Biancoblu BO (10-17). Ndoja scored 6 points. Enel Brindisi was edged 95-92 at home by the one of league's weakest teams Biancoblu BO (#14). His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Ndoja has relatively good stats this season: 11.5ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.3spg. He also holds two passports: Albanian and Italian. Despite Ndoja played previously for the Italian national team, he is currently in the Albanian national team roster.

Grigoris Pappas
Grigoris Pappas
#5. Former international power forward Grigoris Pappas (205-91) was not able to help Panerythraikos (10-18) in their game against Apollon Patras (0-18) in the Greek A2 (second division). Pappas did not have that impressive stats last Saturday. He recorded only 2 points in 17 minutes. Panerythraikos was crushed 83-62 on their home court in New Eritrea by the higher-ranked (#11) Apollon Patras. It was Panerythraikos' sixth consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Pappas' total stats are: 2.3ppg and 1.8rpg in the 11 games. He holds both Albanian and Greek passports. Pappas used to play for the Albanian national team three years ago.
