Poland gained the second victory at 2013 EuroBasket Qualification. They cruised past Albania in Tirana. Mateusz Ponitka (196-G/F-93) scored 17 points to lead the visitors. Poland are now at 2-2 record, while Albania slipped at 0-3. Poland tipped off the game aggressively. They fired 28 points in the opening quarter to take a 9-point lead. Poland stayed in control throughout the second frame. They ensured a 56:33 halftime advantage. Albania slowed the visitors down a bit in the third quarter. The hosts cut the margin to 21-point mark before the fourth period. But Poland unleashed 35 points in the final frame to seal a confident victory. Michal Ignerski (207-F-80, agency: Stanley International, college: Mississippi St.) and Przemyslaw Zamojski (194-G/F-86, agency: Alti Sport, college: Independence CC) provided 14 points each for the winners.
