Belgium eased past Albania in Tirana tonight. The victory propelled them to 5-3 record in the third position in Group E. It was just enough to advance to 2013 EuroBasket. Maxime De Zeeuw (205-PF-87) posted 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the visitors.
Belgium started strong. They grabbed a 21:11 lead ten minutes into the game. Belgium stretched the gap in the second frame. They ensured a 41:24 halftime advantage. The visitors stayed dominant throughout the second half. They entered the final period up by 22 points and never looked back on the way to the victory. Sam Van Rossom (188-PG-86) accounted for 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists, while Beye Tabu-Eboma (184-SG-85) added 11 points for Belgium. Klaudio Ndoja (198-SG-85) answered with 14 points for Albania. Gerti Shima (202-PF-86) had 10 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.

An interesting game for SK Tirana (12-1) which hosted in Tirana their biggest opponent Teuta (9-4). First ranked SK Tirana had an easy win 106-58. The game without a history. SK Tirana led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Teuta to just 6 points in second quarter.
