We bring you last week's top performances from Albanians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is an international shooting guard Klaudio Ndoja (198-85, currently plays in Italy). He was the major contributor in a Enel Brindisi's victory against the league outsider Vanoli Cremona (1-3) 78-69 in the Italian SerieA in Sunday night's game.
Ndoja scored 13 points in 22 minutes on the court.
Enel Brindisi (1-3) is placed 11th in the SerieA.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
This year Ndoja averages: 5.0ppg, 2FGP: 66.7%, 3FGP: 44.4% and FT: 66.7% in the four games he played so far.
He has a dual citizenship: Albanian and Italian.
Despite Ndoja played previously for the Italian national team, he played also for the Albanian national team in 2012.
#2. Second place goes to an international center Ermal Kurtoglu (208-80, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Turkey). Kurtoglu managed to help Anadolu Efes Istanbul to win against the closely-ranked Banvit BK (1-1) 79-69 in the Turkish TBL last Monday.
He recorded only 2 points. It was his first game for Anadolu Efes this season.
His team is placed fourth in the TBL.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
Kurtoglu is another player who holds two passports: Albanian and Turkish.
He is in the roster of the Albanian senior national team.
#3. The Albanian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international swingman Erjon Kastrati (198-94, currently plays in Adriatic League). Kastrati contributed to a 2-point Krka's victory against the tenth-ranked Cibona (2-3) 69-67 in the Adriatic League on Sunday night.
He recorded 8 points in 15 minutes.
Krka Novo Mesto (3-2) is placed sixth in the Adriatic League.
But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
It's Kastrati's first year with the team.
This season Kastrati averages only 4.0ppg, 3FGP: 75.0% and FT: 33.3% in the four games.
He has both Kosovan and Albanian nationalities.
Despite Kastrati played previously for the Kosovan national team, he played also for the Albanian national team in 2007.
#4. Shooting guard Franko Bushati (190-85, agency: Two Points, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian Lega2 (second division) could not help Givova Scafati (2-1) to beat C.de Latte BRE (2-1).
Bushati scored 9 points.
But Givova Scafati was edged 88-86 at home by the higher-ranked C.de Latte BRE (#3).
But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go.
Bushati's overall stats this season are: 5.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.3spg.
He also holds two passports: Albanian and Italian.
Despite Bushati played previously for the Italian national team, he is currently in the Albanian national team roster.
#5. International guard Nderim Pelaj (179-88, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help Dorsten (1-3) in their game against SC Rist Wedel (4-0) in the German ProB (third division).
Pelaj recorded 5 points in 16 minutes. It was his first game for Dorsten this season.
The ninth-placed Dorsten lost 67-77 on the road to the second-ranked SC Rist Wedel in the Group North.

Pelaj has been at the team for nine years.
He holds both Albanian and German passports.

Ndoja played for Albanian Senior National Team between 2004 and 2012 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2003. He represented Albania at the Qualifications to European Championships 2013 last year. His stats at that event were 8 games: 13.8ppg, 3.6rpg, 1.4apg, 1.5spg, FGP: 36.4%, 3PT: 16.4%, FT: 83.3%. Ndoja has played previously for seven other Italy teams: Naturhouse Ferrara, Fileni BPA Jesi, Givova Scafati, Upea Capo d'Orlando, Casalpusterlengo, Borgomanero and Upea Capo d'Orlando. Kuqo recorded 6 points.
Anadolu Efes Istanbul (10-2) is placed third in the TBL.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
Kuqo's overall stats this season are: 3.9ppg, 2.3rpg, 2FGP: 52.9% and FT: 77.8%.
He is another player who holds two passports: Albanian and Turkish.
Kuqo played for the Albanian national team in 2011.
#3. The Albanian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Franko Bushati (190-85, agency: Two Points, currently plays in Italy). He contributed to a Givova Scafati's victory against one of league's weakest teams Aget Service IM (3-9) 89-81 in the Italian Lega2 (second division) on Sunday night.
Bushati scored 8 points and added 3 passes in 15 minutes.
Givova Scafati Basket (9-3) is placed first in the Lega2.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
It's Bushati's first season with the team.
This year his overall stats are: 5.9ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 43.6%, 3FGP: 22.2% and FT: 73.5% in the 12 games.
Bushati has both Albanian and Italian nationalities.
He is also a member of the Albanian senior national team.
#4. Center Ersid Luca (212-81, currently plays in Lebanon), who plays in the Lebanese Division A could not help one of league's weakest teams Hoops Club (2-6) to beat Bejjeh (3-6).
Luca scored 7 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
Hoops Club was defeated 70-65 on the road by the higher-ranked Bejjeh (#7).
His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
Luca is ranked fourth on the list of the best rebounders in the league.
He has very reliable stats this season: 14.1ppg, 11.0rpg and 1.3apg.
Luca also holds two passports: Serbian and Albanian.
He is also Albanian national team player.
