We bring you last week's top performances from Albanians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is former international shooting guard Franko Bushati (189-85, agency: Two Points, currently plays in Italy). Bushati could not help Brescia (10-13) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Brescia was defeated 87-78 at home by the lower-ranked Openjobmetis VA (#13). Bushati scored 11 points. This season Bushati averages: 2.8ppg, 1.1rpg, 2FGP: 42.9%, 3FGP: 29.7% and FT: 53.3%. He has a dual citizenship: Albanian and Italian. Bushati played for the Albanian senior national team five years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international swingman Klaudio Ndoja (201-85, currently plays in Italy). He contributed to an easy victory against the 16th-ranked Recanati (6-19) crushing them 98-63 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) on Sunday night. Ndoja recorded 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 20 minutes. Virtus Segafredo Bologna (18-8) is placed first in East group. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Ndoja's overall stats are: 7.9ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 47.4%, 3FGP: 39.1% and FT: 76.9% in seven games he played so far. He is another player who holds two passports: Albanian and Italian. Ndoja played for the Albanian national team in 2012.

   #3. The Albanian player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international point guard Rashaun Broadus (183-84, agency: Octagon Europe, college: BYU, currently plays in Germany). He was not able to help SC Rasta Vechta in their game against s Oliver Baskets (7-18) in the German BBL. Broadus scored 9 points and had 3 steals. But SC Rasta Vechta was crushed 86-63 on the road by the higher-ranked s Oliver Baskets (#15). Broadus' total stats this season are: 6.1ppg, 1.4rpg, 4.8apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 38.1%, 3FGP: 21.7% and FT: 57.1%. He is a naturalized American. Broadus is also a member of the Albanian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Albania.

   #4. Guard Elvisi Dusha (188-94, currently plays in United Kingdom) managed to help Plymouth University Raiders in a victory against the closely-ranked Bristol Acadamy Flyers (11-16) crushing them 85-62 in the British BBL last Friday. Dusha scored only 2 points and added 4 assists in 15 minutes. Plymouth University Raiders (13-13) is placed seventh in the BBL. They ended the series of four consecutive loses. This year Dusha's total stats are: 3.8ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.0apg in 10 games. He has both Albanian and British nationalities. Dusha is also Albanian national team player.

   #5. Former international forward Vildan Mitku (200-83, currently plays in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for Tuebingen II (8-17) in their game against TV Langen (13-12) in the German Regionalliga (fourth division). Mitku scored 8 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 29 minutes. The 13th-placed Tuebingen II (8-17) lost 67-75 in Langen to the higher-ranked (#7) TV Langen in the South-West group. It was Tuebingen II's third consecutive loss in a row. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. It's Mitku's sixth season with the team. Mitku has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.8ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.5apg and 1.3spg in 24 games. Mitku used to play for the Albanian national team six years ago.

   #1. Erjon Kastrati (198-SG-94, currently plays in Slovenia) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Helios (0-2) 76-59 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM in Wednesday night's game. He recorded 10 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 27 minutes. Krka Novo Mesto (2-0) is placed first in Places 1-6 group. It's Kastrati's fifth season with the team. This year Kastrati averages: 8.7ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.3apg in 22 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Kosovan and Albanian.

   #2. Besnik Bekteshi (191-G-93, currently plays in Germany). He could not help SC Rasta Vechta (2-23) to beat s Oliver Baskets (7-18). Bekteshi did not beat the league record on Friday evening. He scored only 2 points. SC Rasta Vechta was crushed 86-63 on the road by the higher-ranked s Oliver Baskets (#15). Bekteshi has averaged so far 4.0ppg and 1.8apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Albanian and German.

   #3. Klaudio Patani (197-F/C-96, currently plays in Italy) was the major contributor in Isernia's victory against the tenth-ranked Ortona (9-15) 64-53 in the Italian Serie B (third division) last Sunday. He recorded 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Il Globo Basket Isernia (8-16) is placed 13th in Group D. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Patani has averaged so far 10.0ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.2spg. He has both Albanian and Italian nationalities.

SK Tirana stepped closer to League title. They edged Vllaznia 90-87 on the road to take 2-0 lead in the championship series. SK Tirana - Vllaznia 98-71 SK Tirana opened win count in Superliga Finals. They cruised past Vllaznia in the championship series opener. SK Tirana dominated from start to finish in this one. They posted a 2718 lead ten minutes into the game. SK Tirana unloaded 26 points in the second quarter to take a 16-point halftime lead.
