Here is the weekly review of the top performing Albanian players, who play currently abroad.

Klaudio Ndoja
Klaudio Ndoja
#1. This week's number one is former international swingman Klaudio Ndoja (201-85, currently plays in Italy). He led Virtus Bologna to an easy victory against the 14th-ranked Chieti (10-19) crushing them 91-71 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) in Sunday night's game. Ndoja recorded 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 27 minutes on the court. Virtus Segafredo Bologna (20-9) is placed first in East group. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Ndoja's first season with the team. This year Ndoja averages: 8.8ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 51.9%, 3FGP: 39.0% in 10 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Albanian and Italian. Ndoja played for the Albanian senior national team five years ago.

Rashaun Broadus
Rashaun Broadus
#2. Second place goes to an experienced international point guard Rashaun Broadus (183-84, agency: Octagon Europe, college: BYU, currently plays in Germany). He could not help one of league's weakest teams SC Rasta Vechta (2-27) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Broadus' good performance SC Rasta Vechta was defeated 87-73 on the road by the higher-ranked Braunschweig (#16). He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Broadus also added 4 steals. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Broadus' overall stats this season are: 7.0ppg, 1.6rpg, 4.2apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 43.5%, 3FGP: 19.4% and FT: 72.7%. He is a naturalized American. Broadus is in the roster of the Albanian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Albania.

Franko Bushati
Franko Bushati
#3. The Albanian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international shooting guard Franko Bushati (189-85, agency: Two Points, currently plays in Italy). Bushati was not able to help Brescia in their game against Umana Venezia (18-9) in the Italian Serie A. It was not his best game last Saturday. Bushati scored only 2 points in 22 minutes. Brescia lost 79-84 at home to the second-ranked Umana Venezia. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Bushati's overall stats are: 2.9ppg, 1.2rpg, 2FGP: 47.1%, 3FGP: 24.0% and FT: 52.4% in 27 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Albanian and Italian. Bushati played for the Albanian national team five years ago.

Elvisi Dusha
Elvisi Dusha
#4. Guard Elvisi Dusha (188-94, currently plays in United Kingdom) was not able to secure a victory for Plymouth Raiders (14-17) in their game against Leicester Riders (25-4) in the British BBL. He scored 8 points. Plymouth Raiders was crushed 99-69 in Leicester by the leading Riders. It was Plymouth Raiders' fourth consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be extremely important. Dusha's total stats this season are: 3.7ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.1apg. He has both Albanian and British nationalities. Despite Dusha played previously for the British U20 national team, he is currently in the Albanian national team roster.

Celis Taflaj
Celis Taflaj
#5. International small forward Celis Taflaj (201-98, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Viola RC in their game against Scafati (10-19) in the Italian Serie A2 (second division). Taflaj did not beat the league record on Saturday evening. He scored only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. The tenth-placed Viola RC was edged 73-71 on their home court in Reggio Calabria by the lower-ranked Scafati (#14) in the West group. Taflaj's total stats this season are: 1.3ppg and 1.5rpg. He plays currently for the Albanian national team.

The list of other players, who all have Albanian passport but never been selected to any of Albanian national teams:

#1. Besnik Bekteshi (191-G-93, currently plays in Germany). Bekteshi could not help one of league's weakest teams SC Rasta Vechta (2-27) to beat Braunschweig (5-23). He did not have that impressive stats last Wednesday. Bekteshi scored only 3 points in 5 minutes on the court. SC Rasta Vechta lost 73-87 on the road to the higher-ranked (#16) Braunschweig. It was SC Rasta Vechta's fifth consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. This year Bekteshi's total stats are: 3.7ppg and 1.7apg in 25 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Albanian and German.

#2. Klaudio Patani (197-F/C-96, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Isernia in their game against Senigallia (15-12) in the Italian Serie B (third division). Patani cannot count it as his best performance. He scored only 2 points in 6 minutes on the court. Isernia (#14) lost 67-75 on the opponent's court to the much higher-ranked (#7) Senigallia in the Group D. It was Isernia's fourth consecutive loss in a row. Patani's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. This year Patani's total stats are: 10.0ppg, 7.3rpg and 1.1spg in 28 games.
