Ireland U16-Armenia U16 59:71

Armenia tied their record at 2-2 at the U16 European Championship Men Division B. The team won over Ireland 71:59 in the opener of Group C on Sunday.
Armenia started the game with 19-12 but could not keep the lead for good. Hanlon brought Ireland 27:26 and Quinn sent the teams to the lockers at 30:26. Two three-pointers from Sergei Pogosyan (95) and Roman Sayadyan (95) gave Armenia 38:36 and John Jason Carr (188-C-95)oll (198-F-95) closed the period at 42:42. The last quarter was the benefit for the Armenian team that erupted with 29-17. It brought them 71:59 victory as Arkadiy Mkrtychyan (95) made three free throws at the end.
Andrey Konstantinov (95) stepped up with 18 points and Sergei Pogosyan posted 17. Roman Sayadyan notched 12, while Arkadiy Mkrtychyan delivered 11. Jason Carr finished the game with 20 points and John Jason Carroll added 15.
