Bosnia and Herzegovina U16 - Armenia U16 83:73

Bosnia and Herzegovina opened U16 European Championship in Division B Qualifying Round with victory. They overcame Armenian counterparts to improve at 2-0 record in Group F. Nedim Buza (201-F-95) stepped up with 25 points to pace the winners. Armenia fell at 0-2 record in the ladder.
Bosnia and Herzegovina made a big step towards the victory in the opening quarter. They outscored Armenia 21:12 in the first ten minutes to ensure a comfortable buffer. Bosnia and Herzegovina maintained the lead throughout the second term. Moreover they posted a 43:29 halftime advantage. Armenia picked up the tempo in the third term. They fired 21 points but still faced a 13-point deficit with one quarter to go. Armenia got as close as seven points midway through the final period. But Bosnia and Herzegovina answered with a 10:0 run to clear off for good. Bojan Lulic (196-F-95) provided 14 points, while Adi Zahiragic (185-PG-95) and Sanin Omerovic (192-G-95) netted 10 points each in the win. Andrey Konstantinov (95) responded with 22 points for Armenia. Sergei Pogosyan (95) accounted for 16 points in the loss.

Urartu adds Zakharov to their roster - 1 month ago

BC Urartu (Superleague 1) added to their roster 21-year old Armenian swingman Nikita Zakharov (200-86kg-95). He played last season at Arsenal in the Superleague 2. In 27 games he had 3.9ppg and 2.4rpg. Zakharov represented Armenia at the European Championships U20 Division B in Szekesfehervar (Hungary) last year. Andrey Konstantinov agreed terms with Urartu - 2 months ago

Superleague 1 newcomer BC Urartu strengthened their roster with addition of 21-year old Armenian international forward Andrey Konstantinov (196-95). He played most recently at Arsenal in the Superleague 2, but left the team in Nov.'15. But in 7 games he recorded just 0.9ppg and 1.4rpg last season. Pogosian starts his pro career at Urartu - 2 months ago

BC Urartu (Superleague 1) agreed terms with 21-year old Armenian international forward Mikael Pogosian (203-95). Pogosian is a dual citizen owning also Russian passport. He just graduated from Thiel (NCAA3). Pogosian has played there for the last three years. As mentioned above he is just out of the college and it will be his first season as a pro.
