Oberwart Gunners are A Bundesliga champions. They fired past Wels on the road to complete the sweep of the title series. The game was mostly controlled by Redwell Gunners Oberwart. Raiffeisen Wels managed to win second period 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 26 personal fouls committed by Raiffeisen Wels helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American guard Chris McNealy (194-92, college: Cal-Irvine) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Derek Jackson (185-91, college: Kent St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) helped adding 18 points. The best for the losing side was guard Thomas Csebits (186-89) with 22 points and American forward Will Carter (200-88, college: San Jose St., agency: HMS) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Raiffeisen Wels players scored in double figures.

Oberwart Gunners earned the Flyeralarm Cup title. They defeated BC Vienna in the Cup Final Four Final. Quincy Diggs (198-G-90, college: Akron, agency: Mansfield and Associates) stepped up with 17 points to pace the winners.
Oberwart snatched a narrow 17:16 lead after the first period. The Gunners extended the gap in the second term. Oberwart accounted for a 37:30 halftime advantage. The Gunners extended their lead in the third term. They piled up a 60:48 lead heading into the fourth period. Oberwart held on to the advantage throughout the final frame and marched to the victory. Adomas Drungilas (203-C-90) produced 16 points and was named the MVP. Derek Jackson (185-PG-91, college: Kent St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 13 points for the winning side. Predrag Miletic (193-SG-84) answered with 23 points for BC Vienna. BC Vienna earned the SuperCup trophy. They beat Gussing in the first official game of the season. Jonathan Fairell (201-F-93, college: Murray St., agency: Duran International) posted 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners.
Vienna eked out a 17:15 lead ten minutes into the game. They arrived at halftime up by just one point 36:35. BC Vienna remained in front throughout the third term. They accounted for a 50:47 lead at the final intermission. BC Vienna did not loosen the grasp in the fourth frame and raced to the victory. Bogic Vujosevic (189-PG-92, agency: Octagon Europe) netted 19 points and issued 9 assists, while Predrag Miletic (193-SG-84, agency: Agency No 10) tossed in 16 points for the winners. Team International conquers All Star Game in Traiskirchen - Mar 13, 2016


Team Austria - Team International 87:106

International won All Star Game in Traiskirchen as they overcame Austria Team 106:87. They managed to open the game with a 31-28 lead at the end of the opening period and then led by 13 points at the half-time. Austria replied with a 21-18 rally in the third period and entered the last stanza trailing by 10. International team however proved their dominance as they posted a 24-15 surge in the last stanza to seal the victory.
Dane Watts (203-F-86) top-scored for the winners with 24 points as he was named MVP of the game. Quincy Diggs (198-G-90, college: Akron) scored 22, while Augustin-Fairell netted 15. Benedikt Danek (176-PG-86) replied with 17 points for the home side, whilst Florian Trmal (199-F-89, agency: Dynamics Global Management) and Daniel Friedrich (181-PG-92) added 11 apiece.
