    Kapfenberg outgunned Oberwart to be crowned A Bundesliga champions. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-9. But Redwell Gunners Oberwart won second period 14-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Kapfenberg Bulls especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Serbian point guard Bogic Vujosevic (190-92, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American power forward Carl Baptiste (208-90, college: Delaware, agency: Diamond Sports) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners.     Kapfenberg celebrated the Austrian Cup title. They fired past Oberwart for the trophy. Bogic Vujosevic (190-PG-92, agency: Octagon Europe) delivered 18 points and was trumped the MVP.
    The Gunners jumped to a 19:16 lead ten minutes into the encounter. Kapfenberg slowed their opponents in the second term. The Bulls pulled in front to take a 31:28 halftime advantage. Kapfenberg unloaded 24 points in the third quarter to gain a 9-point lead. They maintained the lead throughout the fourth stanza and marched to the victory.     WBC Wels clinched SuperCup beating Gunners Oberwart 71:68. Kevin Payton (196-G-86, college: Minnesota) was named MVP of the game as he collected 18 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists.
    WBC Wels grabbed a 29-21 lead at the end of the first period and led 15 points at the halftime. Gunners Oberwart managed to win the third period and reduced to 11 with 10 minutes to go. Moreover they tied the gam et 61-61, but could not win the game. WBC Wels made the final push for the narrow win and the first title of the 2016/17 season.
