Flying Foxes ease to another AWBL title - Apr 12, 2013

Flying Foxes celebrated the seventh AWBL title in a row. They overcame BC Vienna in the third game of the title series to complete the sweep. Elisabeth Pavel (192-C-90) came up with 22 points to lead the winners.
Flying Foxes dominated from the start. They accumulated a 22:13 lead after the opening quarter. Flying Foxes extended their lead to 10 points at halftime 40:30. The hosts went on a stinging rally in the third frame. Flying Foxes ignited a 25:10 spurt to take a 25-point lead at the final break. The home team did not loosen the grasp in the fourth period and raced to the win at the end. Ceira Ricketts (175-G-90, agency: Two Points, college: Arkansas) netted 16 points for the winning team. Sigrid Koizar (173-PG-95) answered with 11 points for BC Vienna. Denise Damian (92) and Agnes Roth (186-F/C-86) had 10 points each in the loss.
Petra Steger (177-SG-87) was named the Finals MVP, while Ceira Ricketts grabbed AWBL MVP award.

Flying Foxes clinch Cup title - Mar 4, 2013

Flying Foxes - BK Duchess 81:66

Flying Foxes celebrated the fourth straight Cup title. They held off BK Duchess in the title game. Ceira Ricketts (175-G-90, agency: Two Points, college: Arkansas) came up with 21 points to lead the winners. Jana Lichnerova (193-C-76) added 20 points for Flying Foxes. She was named the MVP after the game.
Flying Foxes eked out a 23:20 lead after the opening quarter. The defending champions maintained the lead throughout the second period. They accumulated a 41:34 halftime advantage. The gap grew in the third quarter. Flying Foxes built a 16-point buffer heading into the fourth period. Flying Foxes kept BK Duchess at distance throughout the fourth frame cruising to the victory. Aleksandra Novakovic (172-PG-94) responded with 15 points for BK Duchess. Sophia Plank (178-G/F-83) netted 11 points in defeat.
