After the sudden departure of big men Zarko Rakocevic the BC Vienna reacted and signed forward Maksim Kovacevic (199-G/F-87). The 24 year old Serbian last played in Cyprus and is coming from Apoel Nicosia. Kovacevic was a member of the Serbian U20 national team which won the gold medal at the 2007 U20 European Championships. Kovacevic is expected to have his debut on Sunday when Vienna will play the Traiskirchen Lions on the road. Vienna is also in talks with big man Alen Trepalovac (214-C-85, agency: World Sport Agency) who already played one game for the club this season.
