But Raiffeisen Wels won second period 17-15. Sebastian Kaeferle earns ABL Rising Star Trophy, Chris Ferguson voted ABL DPOY - May 27, 2016

Two players of the Redwell Gunners Oberwart earned ABL league awards yesterday. Guard Sebastian Kaeferle (185-G-96) was voted ABL Rising Star 2016 and follows Daniel Friedrich of Gmunden who earned the inaugural award last season. In a voting by coaches and journalists Kaferle won in front Benedikt Guttl of the Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions and Jozo Rados of the BK Klosterneuburg Dukes finished third.
