Austrian Champion Xion Dukes Klosterneuburg announced that the club has renewed the contract of starting point guard Moritz Lanegger (190-G-90, agency: Interperformances). The 21 year old national team player signed a three year contract. Last season Lanegger appeared in 39 games for the Dukes averaging 8.6 ppg, along with 4.6 rpg and 3.6 apg. He was voted Eurobasket.com All-Austrian League Defensive Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Domestic Players Team. Lanegger was selected to play in the Austrian All Star Game and played a huge part in the Dukes run for the championship.
