U18 AUSTRIA - U18 HUNGARY 44-69

Hungary cruised past Austria 69-44 in do-or-die game today. Thanks to this victory Hungary jumped to 2-1 record and finished as the second ranked team of Group A. Austria will be transferred to Classification Round. Hungary was up by 10 at the halftime and jumped to plus 23 with ten minutes remaining. All after that was just the formality. Amadea Szamosi (190-F/C-94) (7 rebs) and Janka Hegedus (184-F-94) scored 12 and 10 points respectively for the winners. Dora Nagy (167-PG-95) and Agnes Gorjanacz (182-G/F-94) had 9 points each in this crucial meeting. Sigrid Koizar (173-PG-95) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds in defeat.
