A few weeks ago Thomas Schreiner (195-G-87, agency: Dynamics Global Management) renewed his contract with the ece Bulls Kapfenberg. Yesterday the club announced that the playmaker will finally leave Kapfenberg to play for River Andorra in Spains LEB Gold. Schreiner and the Bulls terminated his contract, the club was aware that this move is a great chance for the captain of the Austrian national team. Schreiner who averaged 10.8 ppg and 5.4 apg which was good enough for second place in assists leaguewide will meet national team mate Anton Maresch in Andorra. Maresch already played in Spain last year and advanced from LEB Silver to the LEB Gold with Andorra.

Oberwart came back into the title series after they brushed past BC Vienna at home court. The game was mostly controlled by Redwell Gunners Oberwart. BC Vienna managed to win third quarter 23-20.
