Austria U18-Estonia U18 57:77

Estonia roll over Austria at the U18 European Championship in Division B. The Baltic side celebrated a 77:57 win in Day 1 of the competition.
Austria struggled only in the first period and won it 17:15. Later on the court was dominated by Estonian team. The latter replied with 23-11 in the second frame and led 38:28 at the halftime after Georg Tambre (194-PF-94)s shot. Estonia added 26-17 in the third period and finished the game with 13-12 in the last period. Ruut was the last player to score for the winners and Muller scored the last points in the game in defeat.
Sander Saare (182-PG-94) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Martin Jurtom (198-F-94) as well as Hendrik Ruut (190-PG-94) had 13 each. Georg Tambre followed them with 9 points in a win. Jakob Poltl (208-PF-95) replied with 18 points and 13 rebounds in defeat, while Timur Bas (198-PF-94) poured in 13.

Club Deportes Puente Alto (Liga Nacional) landed 28-year old American swingman Jemal Farmer (195-98kg-89, college: Arkansas, agency: Blacktop Management). He played most recently at Basket Swans Gmunden in Austrian A Bundesliga. In 31 games he averaged 12.4ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.9apg in 2015-16 season. The previous (14-15) season Farmer played at Tokyo Cinq (BJ League) in Japan where in 41 games he had very impressive stats: 18.1ppg, 5.2rpg and 2.4apg. Traiskirchen Lions sign Kevin Payton and Aleksandar Andjelkovic - 5 days ago
The Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions announced two signings for the upcoming season. Kevin Payton is coming from Wels where he played for the former WBC since 2015. Payton had to deal with a couple of injuries in the last years. He was limited to just three games during the 15/16 campaign. Oberwart Gunners (A Bundesliga) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American guard Prince Williams (193-88kg-92, college: E.Carolina).
