Axiers Sucre
23-year old swingman Florian Trmal (193-G/F-89) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team BC Vienna and receives a Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat UBSC Graz (#6, 3-2) 96-90. It allowed BC Vienna to consolidate first place in the Austrian league. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but BC Vienna already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. Trmal turned to be BC Vienna's top player in his first season with the team. Trmal has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 10.2rpg) and averages solid 60.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Davor Lamesic (205-PF-83, agency: Interperformances) of league's second-best Wels. He is naturalized Bosnia and Herzegovina forward in his 5th season at Wels. In the last game Lamesic recorded impressive 22 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he lead Wels to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked St.Polten (#9, 1-4) 89-57. This victory allowed Wels to move up to second position in the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 4 matches. Lamesic is one of the most experienced players at Wels and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.4ppg (#5). He also registered 8.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Wels' star - forward Tyler Tiedeman (201-F-85, agency: Interperformances). Tiedeman scored 28 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was another key player of Wels, helping his team with a 89-57 easy win against the lower-ranked St.Polten (#9, 1-4). Wels is closer and closer to the top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Tiedeman has a great season in Austria. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 27.0ppg (best scorer).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Zarko Rakocevic (204-F-84) of BC Vienna - 29 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Darnell Gant (203-F-89) of Oberwart - 26 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Maurice Pearson (206-F/C-89) of Furstenfeld - 21 points and 13 rebounds
7. Quentin Pryor (193-G/F-83) of Kapfenberg - 22 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Michael Anthony Dale (197-G/F-84) of UBSC Graz - 24 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Milan Stegnjaic (204-F/C-81) of UBSC Graz - 19 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Mike Oppland (204-F-84) of Gmunden - 13 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
