Matej Kljaic
#3. The Austrian player who performed third best last week abroad was former U16 international forward Matej Kljaic (193-91, currently plays in Croatia), who plays in the Croatian A1. Kljaic was not able to help Djuro Djakovic (3-3) in their last game. Despite his good performance Djuro Djakovic was crushed 84-62 in Darda by the higher-ranked (#3) Vrijednosnice OS. Kljaic scored 13 points and added 3 passes in 40 minutes. It was Djuro Djakovic's third consecutive loss in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Kljaic's fourth year with the team. This season he averages only 5.5ppg, 2FGP: 46.2%, 3FGP: 38.9% in the six games. Kljaic is another player who holds two passports: Austrian and Croatian. Despite he played previously for the Croatian U18 national team, Kljaic played also for the Austrian U16 national team in 2007.

Anton Maresch
Anton Maresch
#4. Shooting guard Anton Maresch (191-91, agency: Two Points, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a River Andorra's victory against the closely-ranked Leyma Basquet (5-1) 73-61 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) in Friday night's game. He scored 9 points. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. B.C. River Andorra (3-0) is placed in the LEB Gold. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Maresch's overall stats this year are: 9.2ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.5apg. He is also Austrian national team player.

Thomas Schreiner
Thomas Schreiner

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Austrian passport:

#1. Ebuka Anyaorah (193-G-90, currently plays in NCAA1), who plays in the NCAA could not help the N.C.Central (0-0) to beat the Wichita State University (0-0).
