Flying Foxes clinched the seventh straight win at the start of AWBL season. They knocked down BC Vienna 87 on the road 77:42. Elisabeth Pavel (192-C-90) was a usual contributor for the defending champions sinking 19 points. Ceira Ricketts (175-G-90, agency: Two Points, college: Arkansas) helped with 16 points in the victory. Flying Foxes accumulated a 34:24 halftime lead. They stretched the lead to 21 points in the third term and never looked back again. Pia Zderadicka (174-G/F-91) provided 16 points for BC Vienna.
BK Duchess improved at 5-1 record following a 74:64 victory over Basket Flames. The teams stayed close throughout the first half. BK Duchess led by just three points at the interval 38:35. BK Duchess extended the margin in the third term. The visitors accumulated an 11-point buffer before the fourth stanza and rallied to the victory at the end. Sophia Plank (178-G/F-83) notched 18 points, while Kadensky added 14 points for the winners. Marlies Kolin (178-F-92) answered with 14 points for Basket Flames. Anda Farcas (187-C-86) had 13 points in the loss.

UBBC Lions Enns Ladys wins AWBL 2 finishing with a 6-0 record on top. In their last game they beat TS Innsbruck 85:53. Trailing 12-15 at the end of the first period, UBBC Lions Enns Ladys needed a massive 24-10 surge to take the lead at the halftime and never trailed again. They added a 25-12 rally in the third period and closed the game with a massive 26-16 surge. Flying Foxes SVS Post wins the 10th title in a row in Austria. The team swept the Final series against Basket Flames 3-0 as they also won the last game 81:57.
