BK Duchess claimed the sixth win in the AWBL season. They toppled visiting UBI Graz 62:50 to get within one win of the league leading Flying Foxes. Nina Suritsch (188-C/F-84) stepped up with 15 points to pace the winners. UBI Graz surprisingly were tied with the hosts at 25 after twenty minutes of action. But BK Duchess went on a 17:8 run in the third quarter to pull ahead for good. Sophia Plank (178-G/F-83) accounted for 10 points for the hosts. Theresa Schwarzinger (174-G-89) responded with 15 points for UBI Graz. Camilla Neumann (182-F-94) netted 10 points in the loss.
BC Vienna 87 celebrated the third victory on the season. They overcame Basket Flames 63:55 at home court. Sigrid Koizar (173-PG-95) stepped up with 20 points for the hosts. Pia Zderadicka (174-G/F-91) added 10 points for BC Vienna 87. Katrin Bock (170-G-92) reacted with 13 points for Basket Flames.

The game in Gratkorn was quite interesting. Second ranked Basket Flames (8-3) played at the court of 5th ranked ATUS Gratkorn (2-9). Basket Flames did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 68-51 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 68-51. AWBL is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 10 rounds left. An exciting game was played in Wien. Third ranked BK Duchess faced 4th ranked BC Vienna. Guests from Klosterneuburg (7-3) smashed host BC Vienna (2-8) 55-28. The game without a history. An exciting game was played in Graz. Leader Flying Foxes faced 4th placed UBI Graz. Guests from Wien (9-0) smashed host UBI Graz (2-7) 92-60. Undefeated Flying Foxes have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 9-0 record.
