Swingman Florian Trmal (193-G/F-89) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked BC Vienna, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 23-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, six rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Arkadia (#11, 0-9) with 25-point margin 104-79. It allowed BC Vienna to consolidate first place in the Austrian A Bundesliga. BC Vienna has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 9-1. Trmal turned to be BC Vienna's top player in his first season with the team. Florian Trmal has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 8.0rpg) and averages impressive 59.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another BC Vienna's star - 34-year old former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-G-78, agency: World Sport Agency). Stazic had a very good evening with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course together with Trmal he helped BC Vienna with another comfortable win outscoring Arkadia (#11, 0-9) 104-79. Of course BC Vienna still keep the league's top spot. His team belongs to top of the standings with 9-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Stazic is well-known at BC Vienna and together with Florian Trmal are proven team's leaders.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Reinhard Lanegger (196-F-81) of UBSC Graz (#7). Lanegger showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, six rebounds and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of UBSC Graz, leading his team to a 98-69 easy win against Oberwart (4-5). The chances of UBSC Graz ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 5 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Lanegger could help UBSC Graz to bring them higher in the standings. Lanegger has a great season in Austria. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 1.2apg (5th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Darnell Gant (203-F-89) of Oberwart - 21 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Demetrius Nelson (203-F/C-86) of Kapfenberg - 25 points and 10 rebounds
6. Robert Arnold (198-F-88) of Gmunden - 26 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Marcus Heard (201-F-84) of Gussing - 25 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Dan Oppland (203-F-84) of Gmunden - 16 points and 10 rebounds
9. Milan Stegnjaic (204-F/C-81) of UBSC Graz - 22 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Joshua Brown (187-PG-88) of Gmunden - 18 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
