Here is the weekly review of the top performing Austrian players, who play currently abroad.

Rasid Mahalbasic
Rasid Mahalbasic
#1. This week's number one is an international center Rasid Mahalbasic (211-90, currently plays in Poland). He contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Siarka Jezioro (7-13) crushing them 89-54 in the Polish TBL in Sunday night's game. Mahalbasic scored 10 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 17 minutes on the court. Asseco Prokom Gdynia (14-6) is placed third in the TBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Mahalbasic's first season with the team. This year he averages: 8.6ppg, 5.3rpg, 2FGP: 57.4%(66-115) and FT: 68.4% in the 20 games he played so far. Mahalbasic has a dual citizenship: Austrian and Slovenian. Ex-kelag Worthersee Piraten player is currently a member of the Austrian senior national team.

Anton Maresch

He led River Andorra to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Ourense (2-10) crushing them 81-60 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Friday. Maresch scored 11 points. B.C. River Andorra (3-0) is placed in the LEB Gold. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. Maresch's overall stats this season are: 8.9ppg, 2.7rpg, 2.1apg, 2FGP: 39.5%, 3FGP: 43.9% and FT: 77.8%. He is in the roster of the Austrian senior national team.
