Tyler
Tiedeman
27-year old forward Tyler Tiedeman (201-F-85, agency: Interperformances) had a very impressive game in the last round for Wels and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 25.
He had the game-high 33 points adding eight rebounds and five assists for Wels in his team's victory, helping them to crush St.Polten (#10, 3-20) with 19-point margin 98-79. Wels maintains the 5th position in Austrian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Wels will need more victories to improve their 13-9 record. In the team's last game Tiedeman had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Wels' top player in his first season with the team. Boise State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Tiedeman is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.6ppg), assists (4th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 65.6% FGP and 40.6% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Florian Trmal (193-G/F-89) of top-ranked BC Vienna. He is a swingman in his first season at BC Vienna. In the last game Trmal recorded impressive double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as BC Vienna lost that game 79-92 to the lower-ranked Klosterneub. (#4, 16-7). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. BC Vienna still maintains its place as the top team in the standings, even despite this loss. His team has currently 17-6 record. Trmal is a newcomer at BC Vienna and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Mark Sanchez (201-F-87, agency: Court Side) of league's second-best Kapfenberg. Sanchez showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, ten rebounds and six assists in the last round. He was a key player of Kapfenberg, leading his team to a 89-75 easy win against #3 ranked Gmunden. Kapfenberg needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 17 victories and 6 lost games. Sanchez has a great season in Austria. After 23 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.0rpg (3rd best). He also has FGP: 67.9% and 3PT: 45.0%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Michael Dale (197-G/F-84) of UBSC Graz - 32 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Blaz Cresnar (214-C-86) of Furstenfeld - 17 points and 16 rebounds
6. Davor Lamesic (205-PF-83) of Wels - 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Dan Oppland (203-F-84) of Gmunden - 18 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Maksim Kovacevic (199-G/F-87) of St.Polten - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Jason Johnson (202-F/C-77) of Oberwart - 13 points and 12 rebounds
10. Christoph Nagler (196-G/F-84) of Klosterneub. - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
