   #1. This week's number one is an international center Rasid Mahalbasic (211-90, currently plays in Poland). He led Asseco Prokom Gdynia to a victory over the second-ranked Polpharma crushing them 88-64 in the Polish TBL in Friday night's game. Mahalbasic was MVP of the game. He recorded 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 20 minutes on the court. Asseco Prokom Gdyniais placed sixth in Places 1-6 group. It's Mahalbasic's first season with the team. This year Mahalbasic averages: 8.9ppg, 5.1rpg, 2FGP: 57.6%(76-132) and FT: 67.2% in the 22 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Austrian and Slovenian. Ex-kelag Worthersee Piraten player is currently a member of the Austrian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international power forward Benjamin Ortner (206-83, college: Metro St., currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Italy. Ortner could not help Montepaschi Siena (7-3) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance the second-placed Montepaschi Siena was defeated 78-71 on the road by the lower-ranked Khimky (#4) in the group F of Euroleague. Ortner recorded 11 points. There are only four games left until the end of the Euroleague Top 16. So now every game will be critical. Ortner's overall stats this season are: 4.8ppg, 2.0rpg, 2FGP: 57.8%(26-45). He is in the roster of the Austrian senior national team.

   #3. The Austrian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Anton Maresch (191-91, agency: Two Points, currently plays in Spain). Maresch contributed to a River Andorra's victory against the fourth-ranked Palencia Baloncesto (13-8) 82-74 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) on Friday night. He scored 9 points in 20 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. B.C. River Andorra (3-0) is placed in the LEB Gold. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. This year Maresch's overall stats are: 9.0ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 40.4%, 3FGP: 43.1% and FT: 78.0% in the 21 games. He is also a member of the Austrian senior national team.

Point guard Thomas Schreiner (195-87, agency: Dynamics Global Management, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Anton Maresch and both played together in the last Spanish LEB Gold game. Schreiner managed to help B.C. River Andorra to win against the fourth-ranked Palencia Baloncesto (13-8) 82-74. He scored 5 points, made 3 passes and 4 steals. Schreiner's total stats this season are: 6.0ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.7apg and 1.5spg. He is also Austrian national team player.
