After 4 rounds played we can already see who rules in the AWBL and who belongs to weaker ones.

Very significant was Basket Flames' (#2, 4-0) victory against 3rd ranked BC Vienna (2-2) 59-39. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BC Vienna. The game without a history. Basket Flames led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BC Vienna to just 7 points in first and third quarters. Basket Flames have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Flying Foxes. Newly promoted BC Vienna keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with BK Duchess. Basket Flames is looking forward to face league's second-placed Flying Foxes in Wien in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Vienna will play on the road against BK Duchess in Klosterneuburg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Top-ranked Flying Foxes blasted bottom-ranked UBI Graz (0-4) in Wien 103-43 keeping the perfect record after 4 rounds. UBI Graz is still unable to win any game. Flying Foxes have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion (4-0) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Basket Flames. UBI Graz at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Gratkorn.
