An exciting game was played in Wien. Second ranked Basket Flames faced 4th ranked BC Vienna. Guests from Vienna (11-3) smashed host BC Vienna (3-10) 76-38. The game was mostly controlled by Basket Flames. BC Vienna managed to win second period 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BC Vienna to just 2 points in fourth quarter and to 13 points in second half. Basket Flames have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-3 record behind leader Flying Foxes. Newly promoted BC Vienna keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Gratkorn. Basket Flames are looking forward to face league's leader Flying Foxes in Wien in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Vienna will play on the road against BK Duchess in Klosterneuburg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
