There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in AWBL.

An exciting game was played in Wien. Top-ranked Flying Foxes faced 3rd ranked BK Duchess. Host Flying Foxes (16-0) smashed guests from Klosterneuburg (11-7) 91-41. Undefeated Flying Foxes have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-0 record. BK Duchess at the other side keep the third place with seven games lost. Flying Foxes are looking forward to face bottom-ranked UBI Graz (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. BK Duchess will play against ATUS Gratkorn and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 18 bottom-ranked UBI Graz was crushed by Basket Flames in Vienna 62-43. Gratkorn beat BC Vienna at home 69-59.

Basket Flames - UBI Graz 62-43

There was no surprise in Vienna where 6th ranked UBI Graz (3-15) was crushed by second ranked Basket Flames (14-4) 62-43 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 62-43. Basket Flames dominated on the defensive end, holding UBI Graz to just 2 points in third quarter and to 8 points in second half. Basket Flames have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-4 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Flying Foxes. UBI Graz at the other side stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost. Basket Flames are looking forward to face BC Vienna (#5) in Wien in the next round. UBI Graz will play at home against the league's leader Flying Foxes and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.

Gratkorn - BC Vienna 69-59

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked ATUS Gratkorn's (5-13) home victory over 5th ranked BC Vienna (3-13) 69-59 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by ATUS Gratkorn. BC Vienna managed to win second period 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ATUS Gratkorn maintains fourth position with 5-13 record. BC Vienna lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth place with 13 games lost. ATUS Gratkorn are looking forward to face higher ranked BK Duchess (#3) in Klosterneuburg in the next round and it may be the game of the week. BC Vienna will play on the road against the league's second-placed Basket Flames and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
