The most exciting game of round 16 in the 2.Bundesliga took place in Villach. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers UBC St. Polten (9-5) to fifth ranked Raiders (9-5) 77-74 in the game for the fourth place. UBC St. Polten will play on the road against BBU S. in Salzburg and is hoping to win this game.
Bottom-ranked Worthersee Piraten is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 15th consecutive match to tenth ranked Warriors (3-11) 81-55. Newly promoted Warriors maintains tenth position with 3-11 record. Worthersee Piraten at the other side still closes the standings with 15 games lost.
