There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in AWBL.

Very significant was BK Duchess' (#3, 12-7) victory against 4th placed ATUS Gratkorn (5-14) 82-55. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 16-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-55. BK Duchess maintains third place with 12-7 record having three points less than leader Flying Foxes. ATUS Gratkorn at the other side keeps the fourth position with 14 games lost. BK Duchess are looking forward to face BC Vienna (#5) in Wien in the next round. ATUS Gratkorn will play at home against UBI Graz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
AWBL top team - Flying Foxes (17-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked UBI Graz (3-16) 80-45. Undefeated Flying Foxes have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 17-0 record. UBI Graz at the other side stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Flying Foxes will play against league's second-placed Basket Flames in Vienna in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. UBI Graz will play on the road against ATUS Gratkorn (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 19 BC Vienna lost to Basket Flames on the opponent's court 42-55.

Basket Flames - BC Vienna 55-42

Rather expected game when 5th ranked BC Vienna (3-14) was defeated on the road by second ranked Basket Flames (15-4) 55-42. BC Vienna was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 36-21 second half run of Basket Flames. Basket Flames have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 15-4 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Flying Foxes. BC Vienna lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth position with 14 games lost. Basket Flames will play against league's leader Flying Foxes in Wien in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Vienna will play at home against BK Duchess (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The Regular Season in AWBL just started. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of ATUS Gratkorn (0-1) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by Flying Foxes (1-0) 99-41. The game without a history. Flying Foxes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sant Adria lands Andrea Riley, ex Flying Foxes - 19 days ago
LFB newcomer Femeni Sant Adria tabbed 29-year old American point guard Andrea Riley (165-62kg-88, college: Oklahoma State). She played most recently at Flying Foxes in Austrian AWBL. In 7 Central Europe Women League games she was the best scorer with impressive 24.9ppg and recorded 4.7rpg, 5.3apg (leader !!!) and 3.9spg (leader !!!) last season. Roth comes back to Basket Flames - 30 days ago
Basket Flames Vienna (AWBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old Hungarian center Agnes Roth (185-86). It is actually her comeback to Vienna as she has played here before. Roth has played for the last seven seasons at BC Vienna 87 in Austrian AWBL. She also played that season for Basket Flames.
