Davor
Lamesic
33-year old power forward Davor Lamesic (205-PF-83, agency: Interperformances) had a great game in the last round for Wels and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 24.
He had the game-high 22 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Wels in his team's victory, helping them to beat Furstenfeld (#7, 10-13) 80-75. Wels maintains the 4th position in Austrian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Wels will need more victories to improve their 12-9 record. Lamesic has many years of experience at Wels, through which he has constantly improved. Lamesic has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 17.0ppg), rebounds (5th best: 7.7rpg) and averages solid 50.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Predrag Miletic (193-SG-84) of Vienna. He is Serbian guard in his 4th season at Vienna. In the last game Miletic recorded impressive 21 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. It was enough for Vienna to edge slightly higher-ranked Kapfenberg (#3, 13-10) by 5 points 69-64. Vienna's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 11-11 record is not bad and everything may still change. Miletic is one of the most experienced players at Vienna and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.4ppg (#2). He also registered 5.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Wels' star - guard DeJuan Wright (190-G-88). Wright showcased his all-around game by recording 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in the last round. He was another key player of Wels, helping his team with a 80-75 win against the lower-ranked Furstenfeld (#7, 10-13). Wels needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 9 lost games. Wright has a very solid season. In 18 games in Austria he scored 14.5ppg. He also has 5.2rpg and FGP: 50.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Bogic Vujosevic (190-PG-92) of Kapfenberg - 20 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Ales Chan (215-C-80) of Wels - 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Marko Car (188-SG-85) of Furstenfeld - 22 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Shawn Ray (194-G/F-80) of Vienna - 14 points and 11 rebounds
8. Marino Sarlija (207-C-89) of Furstenfeld - 19 points and 6 rebounds
9. Chris McNealy (194-G-92) of Oberwart - 13 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Kevin Payton (196-G-86) of Wels - 14 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
