The Regular Season in AWBL just ended.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Wien: Flying Foxes (#1) and BC Vienna (#5). Flying Foxes (19-0) smashed visiting BC Vienna (3-16) by 50 points 88-38. Undefeated Flying Foxes have an impressive 19-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 19-0 record. BC Vienna lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom place with 16 games lost.
An exciting game was played in Wien. Top-ranked Flying Foxes faced second-ranked Basket Flames. Host Flying Foxes (19-0) smashed guests from Vienna (15-5) 78-51. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Basket Flames. Undefeated Flying Foxes have an impressive 19-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 19-0 record. Basket Flames at the other side keep the second place with five games lost.
Bottom-ranked UBI Graz managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the two-game losing streak on Sunday night. This time they outleveled fourth-ranked ATUS Gratkorn 78-55. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 23-point difference proves that UBI Graz was well-prepared to that game. UBI Graz (4-16) moved-up to fifth place. Loser ATUS Gratkorn keeps the fourth position with 15 games lost.
The game in Wien was also worth to mention about. Third ranked BK Duchess (13-7) played at the court of 5th ranked BC Vienna (3-16). BK Duchess defeated BC Vienna 57-46. BK Duchess maintains third position with 13-7 record having five points less than leader Flying Foxes. BC Vienna lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom place with 16 games lost.

Gratkorn - UBI Graz 55-78

Bottom-ranked UBI Graz managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the two-game losing streak on Sunday night. This time they outleveled fourth-ranked ATUS Gratkorn 78-55. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 23-point difference proves that UBI Graz was well-prepared to that game. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-55. UBI Graz dominated on the defensive end, holding ATUS Gratkorn to just 6 points in second quarter. UBI Graz (4-16) moved-up to fifth place. Loser ATUS Gratkorn keeps the fourth position with 15 games lost.

Flying Foxes - Basket Flames 78-51
