Marck Coffin
25-year old guard Marck Coffin (193-G-91) put on an amazing game in the last round for Kapfenberg and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Klosterneuburg (#9, 4-21) with 21-point margin 89-68. Kapfenberg is placed at 3rd position in Austrian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Kapfenberg will need more victories to improve their 14-11 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Coffin as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Marck Coffin averages this season 6.2ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Jamari Traylor (203-F-92) of top-ranked Oberwart. He is American forward in his first season at Oberwart. In the last game Traylor recorded impressive double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Oberwart to another comfortable win 78-62 over the lower-ranked Furstenfeld (#7, 11-14) being unquestionably team leader. Of course Oberwart still keep the league's top spot. His team lost just four games this season, while they won 21 matches. Traylor is a newcomer at Oberwart and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Oberwart's star - guard Andell Cumberbatch (196-G-93, agency: Octagon Europe). Cumberbatch scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was another key player of Oberwart, helping his team with a 78-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Furstenfeld (#7, 11-14). Oberwart confirms their top position in the standings. Cumberbatch has a very solid season. In 25 games in Austria he scored 14.7ppg. He also has 6.2rpg and FGP: 61.7%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jason Detrick (195-SF-80) of Arkadia - 27 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Florian Trmal (199-F-89) of Arkadia - 24 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Nemanja Krstic (205-SF-93) of Kapfenberg - 22 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Benedikt Danek (176-PG-86) of Arkadia - 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists
8. Dejan Cigoja (205-F-88) of Wels - 22 points and 8 rebounds
9. Derek Jackson (185-PG-91) of Oberwart - 20 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Tilo Klette (206-C/F-77) of Gmunden - 16 points and 6 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
