Sebastian
Koch
International Forward Sebastian Koch (202-F-88) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Vienna, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 28.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (23 points, six rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Klosterneuburg (#9, 4-22) with 32-point margin 87-55. Vienna is placed at 5th position in Austrian A Bundesliga. Vienna is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-13 record. In the team's last game Koch had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Vienna's top player in his first season with the team. Sebastian Koch averages this season 12.0ppg and 5.2rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 23-year old international center Jozo Rados (208-C-93) of Klosterneuburg. Rados had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Klosterneuburg lost that game 55-87 to the higher-ranked Vienna (#5, 13-13). Klosterneuburg are still at the very bottom. 22 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Klosterneuburg managed to get this year. Rados is one of the most experienced players at Klosterneuburg and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.5ppg (#7). He also registered 11.7 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Croatian center Marino Sarlija (207-C-89) of Furstenfeld (#7). Sarlija showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, ten rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Furstenfeld, leading his team to a 76-64 win against slightly lower-ranked UBSC Graz (#8, 6-20). The chances of Furstenfeld ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 14 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Sarlija could help Furstenfeld to bring them higher in the standings. Sarlija has a great season in Austria. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.2rpg (8th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Predrag Miletic (193-SG-84) of Vienna - 22 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Kareem Jamar (194-G-92) of Kapfenberg - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Anton Maresch (191-SG-91) of UBSC Graz - 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Toni Blazan (195-F-92) of Gmunden - 18 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Povilas Gaidys (208-C-91) of Gmunden - 16 points and 6 rebounds
9. Anthony Clemmons (186-PG-94) of Vienna - 13 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Milovan Draskovic (211-C-95) of Arkadia - 14 points and 9 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
