The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked NTD (9-2) in Nahchivan on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked Araz (2-9) 81-73. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of NTD. Araz maintains seventh place with 2-9 record. NTD at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Baku: Baku Oilers (#5) and BDU (#8). Baku Oilers (6-5) crushed visiting BDU (0-11) by 60 points 94-34. Baku Oilers maintains fifth place with 6-5 record. BDU at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Aztop (7-4) against sixth ranked Dervish (5-6) on Sunday night. Host Aztop was defeated by Dervish in Baku 77-61. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Aztop. Dervish maintains sixth place with 5-6 record. Loser Aztop keeps the third position with four games lost.

Baku Oilers - BDU 94-34

Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Baku: Baku Oilers (#5) and BDU (#8). Baku Oilers (6-5) crushed visiting BDU (0-11) by 60 points 94-34. Baku Oilers maintains fifth place with 6-5 record. BDU at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost.

BC Kremen Kremenchuk (Higher League) re-signed 27-year old Azerbaijani ex-international power forward Amil Hamzayev (204-90, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov). He played there last season. In 28 Superleague games he averaged 10.3ppg and 3.4rpg. Higher League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
