The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked NTD (11-3) in Baku on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Aztop (10-4) 78-60. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of NTD. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Aztop have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 10-4 record behind leader NTD. NTD at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost.
Important game to mention about took place in Baku. Fifth ranked Dervish (8-6) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Baku (8-5) 83-81 on Saturday evening. Dervish have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Baku Oilers. Baku lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the third position with five games lost.
Bottom-ranked BDU is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 14th consecutive match to seventh ranked Araz (3-11) 63-51 on Saturday evening. Araz maintains seventh place with 3-11 record. BDU lost their fourteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 14 games lost.
The game in was also worth to mention about. 4th placed Baku Oilers (8-6) played at the court of sixth ranked Sichraish (7-6). Sichraish managed to secure a 9-point victory 89-80. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Baku Oilers. Newly promoted Sichraish maintains sixth place with 7-6 record. Baku Oilers at the other side keep the fourth position with six games lost.
