The Regular Season in D1 just ended. What a coincidence that all visitors won their games.

An exciting game was played in Baku. Second ranked NTD faced 4th ranked Veterans. Guests from (11-1) smashed host Veterans (4-8) 113-34. NTD have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-1 record having just one point less than leader Dervish. Newly promoted Veterans dropped to the fifth place with eight games lost.
The game in was also worth to mention about. Third ranked 80-ies (8-3) played at the court of 6th ranked AzDNSU (3-9). 80-ies defeated AzDNSU 91-79. 80-ies have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted 80-ies maintains third position with 8-3 record having just three points less than leader Dervish. AzDNSU at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixth place with nine games lost.

Veterans - NTD 34-113

BC Kremen Kremenchuk (Higher League) re-signed 27-year old Azerbaijani ex-international power forward Amil Hamzayev (204-90, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov). He played there last season. In 28 Superleague games he averaged 10.3ppg and 3.4rpg. Higher League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
